As part of an ongoing research programme into performing large scale computational simulations on complex, realistic aerospace geometries, a number of core modules have been developed which fully utilise any available parallel computing hardware. These core modules started with the actual equation solvers, and then extended into the pre- and post-processing technologies such as mesh generation and visualisation. As a final step, all of these modules have then been integrated into a Parallel Problem Solving Environment that hides the complexities of the numerous parallel algorithms behind a userfriendly graphical front-end.
