How to get the ACIS 3D Geometric Modeler?
Nonprofit Research and Educational Institutions
Spatial’s University Partner Program offers a 3D software component package, which includes the ACIS 3D Geometric Modeler, to nonprofit research and educational institutions. The Program is designed to provide students, faculty, and staff with the opportunity to use the highest quality, state-of-the-art 3D technologies in the classroom and/or for research purposes.

If you are interested in participating in Spatial’s University Partner Program, please email productsales@spatial.com for more information. Details on the 3D software component package, offered through the program, are available on Spatial’s Web site at http://www.spatial.com.

Commercial Software Developers
Software developers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), may receive the ACIS 3D Geometric Modeler and any of Spatial’s 3D component products for development and evaluation purposes with no upfront costs.

Spatial requires that you sign a Development and Evaluation License Agreement before using ACIS and any of their other 3D software component products. This agreement is a contract that is held with Spatial, which enables you to evaluate and develop with their 3D component products, and gain access to related product documentation, free of charge.

What Spatial’s Development and Evaluation (D&E) License Agreement entails:

  • The D&E Agreement provides you with no-cost evaluation and development until you are ready to ship your product(s). This agreement is renewable yearly and you may terminate it without charge.
  • Once you are ready to ship your product(s) or application, Spatial will then convert your D&E Agreement to an OEM Partner Agreement, at which point you become a Spatial OEM Partner and annual and variable partner fees commence. These fees vary based on the Spatial component products used in your application and how you choose to distribute your product(s). In this way, Spatial shares in your success and does not receive revenues until you do, when you begin shipping your application.
  • As part of this OEM Partner Program, companies of any size can implement Spatial’s quality, high-end 3D software components. Spatial also offers a suite of professional customer services that provide comprehensive technical expertise and development resources to help you successfully implement their components into your product design and development cycle.
To obtain a D&E Agreement from Spatial and more information on their OEM Partner Program, please visit Spatial’s Web site at http://www.spatial.com or contact Spatial directly via email at productsales@spatial.com, or via telephone at 303.544.2900 or 800.767.5710.
